Rebuilt SECO (Simplimatic Engineering Company) Bulk Depalletizer integrated with tier sheet hopper, single filer, and lowerator. Some of the highlights for each component of this system are as follows:
SECO Depalletizer
Vacuum pick up of tier sheets
Extended elevator to accept 110"high loads of bulk glass containers
Modified to fit customer's foot print
Intech Single Filer
All stainless steel construction
Three belts traveling at increasing speeds to handle 200 bottles per minute
Lowerator
Manufactured with a stainless steel frame and capable of lowering from 170"off of floor to 34".
Intech completed this project in a fourteen week duration that included customer testing in-house, supervised installation, and Intech start up.
Product: One-gallon bottles of liquid product in a 6-pack and 4-pack being palletized onto a 48"x40"GMA and/or 4-way CHEP pallets. Product speeds needed to meet a minimum of 22 cases per minute on the 6-pack product while the 4-pack needed to meet a minimum of 35 cases per minute.
Intech rebuilt a Columbia Machine Model 510 Case Palletizer utilizing an Allen Bradley SLC 5/04 for controls, a turn assist for heavy cases, a side-shifter to enhance speed, a proportional valve kit for the elevator, centering side squeezers for pattern forming and load squaring, and open flap detection that would shut down the palletizer should a case entering the system not be sealed properly.
The customer was able to utilize the benefit of this machine being 80% complete prior to placing their order. Intech had previously starting rebuilding this machine to a generic standard. The customer was able to receive their machinery just four weeks after placing their order. Intech supervised the installation and performed the start-up and training.
Mateer Burt Model 408D Roll-through Labeler
Product 401x603 fiber wound cans with EZO cover filled with a dry nutritional product. The label was a high-gloss paper label. The line speed was running @ 80 cans per minute with a 100% efficiency rating.
Intech brought the customer’s existing old Burt labeler to our facility and rebuilt the labeler. All parts of the labeler were inspected, cleaned and/or replaced as deemed necessary to ensure fault free operation for a period of twelve months.
The overall project lasted ten weeks from pick up of customer’s labeler to delivery of labeler to customer.
